InterConnect will participate in a workshop to demonstrate how regions can be involved in mobilising their SMEs to participate in EU funding and testing opportunities to facilitate the adoption of advanced digital technologies across sectors and countries.
The session is part of the European Week of Regions and Cities and will present the InterConnect Belgium Pilot, focusing on the collaboration between an EU initiative as InterConnect and the energy stakeholders in Belgium as DSOs, all Flemish research institutes, and 25 of Flanders’ most active companies in the energy sector. The session will also show how the FSTP is used to develop and deploy new solutions and services in a real-world environment.
Simon Aerts, from Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), will be in charge of the presentation that will take place on the 12th of October.
But that’s not all. INESC TEC’s CEO, João Claro, will also be at European Week of Regions and Cities. Tuesday, 10th, in the session “Thriving regions through science: how innovative research centres can retain talent and drive growth”, João Claro will give a quick overview of InterConnect.
