ENGIE is a global energy player and an expert operator in the three businesses of electricity, natural gas and energy services. The Group supports changes in society that are based as much on economic growth as on, social progress and the preservation of natural resources. ENGIE is an energy producer (electricity and gas), a gas transmitter (LNG, gas transmission and distribution network), an energy supplier (gas and electricity) and a service provider (energy efficiency, district network…).
ENGIE is a strong power operator (115.3 GW power production around the world among which 19 GW of renewable energy) with a significant expertise in energy management and power trading. ENGIE is now developing new services around energy efficiency and demand side management. As a result, in Europe, ENGIE is operating 500 MW demand side management capacities. ENGIE is convinced that in an Energy Transition Context, local energy management is key. ENGIE wants to use its global energy management and trading skills and its customer relationship expertise in order to develop new local services for DSO beyond current services for both TSO and markets.
